The COVID-19 pandemic upended lives across the globe and forced organisations and individuals to pivot and restructure sustainably to mitigate the devastating socio-economic impact of the disease. The ABLF Talks Virtual Conclaves was launched in October 2020 as a response to the pressing challenges that engulfed the world, the objective being to drive crucial conversations around socio-economic recovery through the voices of Asia’s most dynamic leaders. For 12 months, the ABLF hosted power-packed sessions at the ABLF City, the cutting-edge virtual venue, featuring top global leaders in discussions, debates and dialogues centred around crucial issues facing humanity.

With the UAE shining on the global firmament as a symbol of strength and resilience, there is renewed focus on tech-led innovation as the nation hosts the Expo 2020 Dubai, bringing together 190 nations in a celebration of the human spirit and excellence across 6 months.

Aligning itself with the UAE leadership’s mandate of inclusive development with a thrust on the knowledge economy, the ABLF continues its journey of igniting change through intellectual dialogues with the launch of ABLF Talks Hybrid at the Expo 2020 Dubai. This pivot is a true reflection of the present times, where technology has blurred boundaries and helped in bringing together diverse voices of dynamic leaders who are heralding change and showing new direction to their communities.
